HOUSE RULES

NOT READING OUR RULES DOES NOT EXEMPT YOU FROM BEING FINED. YOUR DECISION, YOUR WALLET!
(SAFETY CAMERA RECORDING ON PROPERTY IN DINING ROOM, KITCHEN, AND PORCH)

CHECK OUT RULES:

 

  • Check out at 11am. Not 11:01, not 11:05. Leaving the room after 11am is an additional 100$. My cleaning lady is ready to work at 11AM so if you waste her time, you pay her time. No excuses being accepted.
  • Before you checking out, put everything what belongs to you from the fridge to the kitchen table.
  • Every kitchen utensils and machines, what did you used, after you washed and it did get dry, put it back where you did take it from.
  • Leave the used towel, hand towel and slippers in your room. If not, there is a 50$ fee.

 

GENERAL RULES:

  • You are not allowed to let anyone in the house under no circumstances for safety reasons! ( 200$ fee ) If you are going to have a guest, you have to let us know!
  • There is no smoking in the apartment and in your room. Smoking is a 1000$ fee
  • Make sure the front door closed properly and locked. Leaving the front door open 50$ fee
  • CLOSE ALL DOORS GENTLY, DO NOT BANG THEM.
  • When you get home, change your shoes by the front door to slippers what we are providing for you.
  • Keep community area clean after yourself
  • After 9pm keep silence in the house, respect your roommates and neighbors.
  • Phone calls 10pm to 7am make it on the porch.
  • If anything broke in the apartment, or not working let me know immediately.
  • If you break something, we are going to charge for that, depending on the damage cost.
  • Leave everything in the apartment like it was before.
  • If you step out from the house, leave your slippers in the hanger, in the closet by the front door.
  • Keep your shoes in the same closet on the floor.

ROOM RULES:

  • You are not allowed to change room. If you would like to exceed your reservation. The only exception is, if someone already booked your room.
  • Only water allowed in your room. No food, no eating, no soda, no tea, no coffee, no wine etc… For eating use kitchen table. If any sign found that shows you ate in the room, or something else then water spilled, going to cost you 50$
  • When you finished eating, clean up after yourself on the kitchen table. Leaving a mess after yourself going to cost you 50$.
  • Do not keep food in your room.
  • Do not keep garbage in your room, except paper. If anything else will be found will cost 50$
  • Destroying wall or paint, or make a scratch by your room, or somewhere else, each damage is 50$. Mandatory pictures made by your host from room after each checkout so I have proof how is the room looked like before you came in.
  • You must turn off all electrical equipments, including lights too, if you are not in the room.
  • Leaving a stain (Pen, marker, or whatever does not come out after laundry, etc,) on the bedding, or somewhere else going to cost 50$
  • No open fire at all in the room, or anything that can cause fire hazard. No incenses, no candles, nothing! If I find anything shows any sign of fire it’s a 1000$ fine!
  • Do not leave the windows open if you are not in the room.

KITCHEN RULES:

  • Keep kitchen clean after yourself
  • Wash the dishes with dishwashing liquid after yourself, when it’s get dry put everything back where you did take it from.
  • Push the water out from the sponge after finish washing the dishes.
  • From the kitchen sink strainer put into trash the garbage after washing the dishes.
  • Keep kitchen counter clean after yourself. Leave it dirty 50$
  • When you cook, pay attention not to make smoke in the kitchen. (Do not burn the oil, that makes smoke)
  • Keep stove clean after yourself. Leave it dirty 50$
  • MAKE SURE YOU CLOSED THE GAS PROPERLY. NOBODY WANT TO BLOW UP IN A GAS EXPLOSION.
  • Please finish cooking by 8PM.
  • Keep kitchen table clean after yourself. Leave it dirty 50$
  • Only wood and plastic utensils allowed to use red cookware set and rice cooker.
  • We are not taking any responsabilty if you get an injury using kitchen machines or washing them, They are brand new but you can use them for your own responsabilty.
  • Breaking any kitchen machine we will charge for it.
  • Put everything back where you did take it from

BATHROOM RULES:

  • Small garbage bags are under the sink in the bathroom. Please if trash full, change them, and put it outside to the regular trash in the kitchen.
  • For washing your hands, use the sink in the bathroom.
  • Keep the bathroom clean after yourself
  • Keep the sink clean after yourself.
  • Keep the bathtub clean after yourself. Rinse it when you done, and clean filter after yourself!
  • Do not blow your nose into the sink
  • Do not splash water when you using sink or bathtub.
  • Keep the toilet clean after you used it.
  • Do not pee on the toilet seat.
  • Try to keep your time in the bathroom as low as you can. Please remember, you have roommates, respect them.
  • Do not take phone calls in the bathroom!
  • Do not use the hair dryer in the bathtub.
  • LEAVE BATHROOM DOOR OPEN WHEN YOU DONE USING BATHROOM.

GARBAGE

 

  • If any of the garbage trash is full, you have to change the bag, and throw out where is the staircase, behind the rail, into the yard. Picture attached to where by the trashes on the wall. Garbage bags you can find under the sink in the kitchen. Thank you very much!
  • In bathroom, small garbage bags are under the sink. Please if trash full, change them, and put it outside to the regular trash in the kitchen. Thank you very much!
  • DO NOT KEEP any GARBAGE IN THE ROOM, except paper.
  • If we will see any garbage left in the room except paper, we are going to charge you with an extra additional fee 50$
  • Before you throw out plastic bottles, make them flat, to save space.
  • Separate garbage into the correct bin, REGULAR / PAPER / PLASTIC + METAL goes together
  • Also check pictures on garbage bins, can give you an answer
  • All bins are marked, (and explained here how to do recycling) please take your time and separate the garbage, otherwise you will be ticketed by New York City sanitation, (they check garbage randomly) if they will find any garbage what is not on the right place. That means, if we are see that something wrong, we are going to charge you 50$. If something is not clear about recycling, please feel free to ask, I am more than happy to help you with any kind of question.
YOU MUST EMPTY AND RINSE OUT ANY PLASTIC FOOD CONTAINERS AND BOTTLES BEFORE RECYCLING THEM. NOT TO DO THIS WILL COST YOU 50$

Mixed paper and cardboard:

  • newspapers, magazines, catalogs
  • receipts
  • wrapping paper
  • envelopes, including window envelopes
  • soft-cover books (no hardcover books)
  • paper bags
  • cardboard boxes, including pizza boxes (first throw away the liner)
  • cardboard egg cartons
  • paper towel rolls
    Do not include: food-contaminated paper, hardcover books, bubble wrap, photographs, tissues, napkins, paper towels, waxed or plastic-coated paper

Metal, glass, plastic and cartons:

  • metal furniture (chairs, filing cabinets) keys
  • tinfoil -soda cans, food cans, spray paint bottles
  • pots and pans
  • wire or plastic hangers
  • plastic bottles
  • plastic silverware
  • plastic toys
  • plastic hampers
  • glass bottles and jars
  • milk, juice, other liquid cartons

Do not include: batteries, plastic bags, squeeze tubes and pouches (for example, Capri Sun juice pouches) or plastic foam
